Robert Aberdour has over 30 years’ experience within the global shipping industry and has extensive knowledge of dry cargo chartering, vessels, shipping contracts and maritime practices. He has worked as a principal charterer, a shipowner and an owner’s and charterer’s broker. In addition to running a ship broking company, Robert co-founded a successful offshore shipping company and established and ran a ship operating business. Robert’s areas of expertise include broking, operating, owning, ship finance and S&P. He has a proven track record in many areas of shipping which involve start-ups to established shipping/trading organisations.

Robert is a member of the Baltic Exchange, serves on the Membership Council, is a supporting member of the L.M.A.A. and has acted as an expert in leading cases in London, Singapore and Hong Kong.
