Bruce McDonald has over 45 years of shipbroking experience. For 20 of those years Bruce has accepted instructions as a maritime Expert Witness. The majority of work concentrates on assistance in the resolution of disputes concerning bulk carrier dry cargo vessels in the 20,000 tdw < 200,000 tdw range. Bruce offers expertise, inter alia, in charter market analysis, quantum, including voyage estimating, plus charter party interpretation.

As an Expert Witness, Bruce has extensive experience appearing before tribunals, undergoing cross-examination, in both arbitration hearings and High Court proceedings, in London, as well as overseas; including by video-link.

A Baltic Exchange Member, Bruce is also a Supporting Member of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA); and a member of the BEWA Council.
